- Parental control on-device; account/entitlement/payment on Supabase (EU)
Good to know: Parental control data (whitelist, PIN, child profile, usage stats) is stored on your device. Your parent phone account, trial/subscription status, and — if you subscribed — your Telegram and payment records are also stored on Ras Innovate servers (Supabase). Use the in-app delete flow for device data; email us to remove server account records.
1. Delete All Data Inside the App (Recommended)
This is the primary and most complete deletion method. It permanently removes all locally stored Ras Kids data from your device without uninstalling the app.
- Open Ras Kids and enter your parent PIN to access the parent dashboard.
- Navigate to Parent Settings → Profile → Device & Privacy.
- Tap Delete All Local Data.
- Enter your parent PIN again when prompted.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field and tap Delete everything.
- The app will reset to its initial setup state. All data listed below is permanently removed.
The following data is permanently deleted by this action:
- Parent and child profiles (name, avatar, phone number)
- Parent PIN hash and all authentication data
- App whitelist and blocking rules
- Session time limits and bedtime schedules
- App usage statistics and screen-time data cached by the app
- All local settings and UI preferences
This does not delete your server-side account, Telegram, or payment records — see Section 2. This action cannot be undone. You will need to set up the app again from scratch if you continue using it after deletion.
2. Delete Server Account Data
Delete All Local Data (Section 1) signs you out and wipes on-device parental-control data, but does not automatically erase your parent account, Telegram/bot data, or payment and referral history on our servers.
To request deletion of server-side account data:
- Email hello@rasinnovate.com with subject: Ras Kids — Account Deletion Request.
- Include the +251 phone number you used in the app.
- We will verify ownership and delete or anonymize account, entitlement, Telegram, and device records within 30 days.
- Completed payment/subscription and referral-commission records may be retained longer where required by applicable Ethiopian tax or financial recordkeeping law.
- Crashlytics logs (if any) are handled separately — see Section 4 below.
3. Uninstall the App
Uninstalling Ras Kids from the device removes the app and its associated local storage. This is equivalent to deletion for all locally stored data, subject to Android system backup behavior on your device manufacturer.
- Open Android Settings on your device.
- Go to Apps (or Application Manager, depending on your device).
- Find and tap Ras Kids.
- Tap Uninstall and confirm.
If Google Drive or your manufacturer's backup service has backed up app data, you may also want to:
- Go to Settings → Google → Backup and remove Ras Kids app data from your Google Drive backup
- Check your device manufacturer’s cloud backup settings (Samsung Cloud, Huawei Cloud, etc.) and remove Ras Kids backup data if present
Tip: We recommend using the in-app Delete All Local Data option (Section 1) before uninstalling to ensure a clean wipe, independent of backup behavior. Uninstalling does not cancel an active subscription or affect your server-side records — see Sections 2 and 4.
4. Data Held by Third Parties
4.1 Google Firebase Crashlytics
If the app crashed during your use, technical crash diagnostic logs may have been automatically transmitted to Google Firebase Crashlytics over HTTPS. These logs may include device model, Android OS version, app version, and crash stack traces. Ras Innovate does not host these logs — they are stored in Google's infrastructure.
To request deletion of Crashlytics-related crash data:
- Send an email to hello@rasinnovate.com with the subject line: Ras Kids — Crashlytics Data Deletion Request.
- Include in the email: your device model, approximate date(s) of app use, and app version if known.
- We will acknowledge your request within 30 days and assist with any applicable Firebase data deletion process.
- For direct requests to Google, refer to Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
4.2 Supabase (account, Telegram & payment database)
Parent phone numbers, entitlement records, and — if you subscribed — Telegram chat data and payment/referral records are stored in Supabase (EU). Ras Innovate controls this data. Request deletion via email as described in Section 2.
4.3 Telegram (only if you subscribed)
Your conversation with our subscription bot also exists in your own Telegram account, managed by Telegram, not Ras Innovate. To delete it there, delete the chat with the Ras Kids bot from within Telegram, or refer to Telegram's own privacy tools.
4.4 Chapa (only if you subscribed)
Payment records held directly by Chapa (not the confirmation we store in Supabase) are governed by Chapa's own policies. Refer to https://chapa.co for how to request deletion or export of your Chapa-held payment history.
4.5 Google Play
Your download of Ras Kids via Google Play creates a record in your Google account's purchase and download history. This is managed by Google, not Ras Innovate. To remove it from your Google Play history, refer to Google Play's help documentation.
5. What We Cannot Delete
Important: We cannot remotely wipe on-device data — only you can delete it using Section 1 or uninstall. Server account deletion requires a written request (Section 2).
Specifically, we cannot:
- Remotely wipe your device or local app data — use in-app deletion or uninstall
- Delete server account records without a verified email request
- Delete completed payment/transaction records where Ethiopian tax or financial recordkeeping law requires retention
- Delete Google Firebase Crashlytics data directly — we can only assist with the request process
- Delete your Telegram-side chat history — only you can do that inside Telegram
- Delete data from third-party OEM backup services (Samsung Cloud, Huawei Cloud, etc.) — contact your device manufacturer for those
